The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has invited online application form for admission in Class 9 and Class 11 across all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) through the Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) 2027 for the academic session 2027-28. Those Students who are interested and eligible can apply online at official website from 02nd September 2026 till the last date 30th September 2026.

Class
Academic Eligibility Requirements
Class IX (9th) Admission
Must be a bonafide resident and studying in Class VIII during the Academic Session 2026-27 in a Govt. / Govt. recognized school.
The school must be located in the same district where the JNV is functioning and where admission is sought.
Date of Birth must fall within the strictly specified range (01.05.2012 to 31.07.2014).
Class XI (11th) Admission
Must be studying in Class X during the Academic Session 2026-27 (April 2026-March 2027 or Jan-Dec 2026) in a Govt. / Govt. recognized school (CBSE/State Board).
The school must be located in the same district where the JNV is located.
Candidates who passed Class X prior to the 2026-27 session are strictly NOT eligible.

How to Apply for JNV Admission Form 2027-28
Visit the official Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) website or the JNV admission registration portal.
Select the appropriate registration link:
Class 9: Click on “Register for Class IX Lateral Entry Admission (2027-28)”.
Class 11: Click on “Apply for Class XI (2027-28) Registration”.
Read the instructions and eligibility conditions carefully before proceeding with the application.
Enter the candidate's basic details such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Nationality, Mobile Number, Email ID and other required information.
