Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU) has released the 1st Merit List and category-wise cut-off marks for admission to the Undergraduate (UG) First Semester courses for the academic session 2026–30. The admission process is being conducted under the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) based on the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).

Candidates who applied for UG admission can now check their selection status through the 1st Merit List published by the university. The merit list has been made available online in PDF format on the official BRABU website.

  • Candidates who have passed intermediate examination I.Sc. or +2 Science Stream only of Bihar School Examination Board or equivalent examinations offered by other approved National / State Boards.
  • UG (Arts)
  • Candidates who have passed intermediate examination I.A./ I.Sc./ I.Com or +2 of Bihar School Examination Board or equivalent examination offered by other approved National / State Board.
  • UG (Commerce)
  • Candidates who have passed intermediate examination I.A./ I.Sc./ I.Com or +2 of Bihar School Examination Board or equivalent examination offered by other approved National / State Boards.

  • Click on the link titled "BRABU 1st Merit List 2026" available on the homepage or admission dashboard.
  • Select your course and college preference, if required.
  • Enter your Application Number, Mobile Number, or Login Credentials to access your admission details.
  • Click on the "View Merit List" or "Download Merit Letter" option.
  • Check your allotted college, subject, category, and admission status carefully.
  • Download and save the Merit Letter/Allotment Letter in PDF format for future reference.
  • Take a printout of the Merit Letter and keep it safe for the admission process.
