The Central Board of School Education (CBSE) has invited online applications for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September Examination 2026.

Candidates who are interested and fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website (https://ctet.nic.in/). The online application process will begin on 11 May 2026 and will continue until the last date, 10 June 2026.

Age Limit Qualifying Marks and Award Of CTET Certificate
  • No Age Limit.

As per NCTE Notification No.76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011: A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.

  1. School managements (Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
  2. Should give weightage to the CTET scores in the recruitment process however, qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

CTET September 2026: Qualification Details

  • Level-1 (Class 1-5)
  • Candidates must have 12th Pass and a D.Ed / JBT / B.El.Ed / B.Ed teaching qualification.
  • Level-2 (Class 6-8)
  • Candidates must have a Graduation Degree along with B.Ed or B.El.Ed qualification.

How to Apply CTET September 2026

  1. Visit the official CTET website and open the CTET September 2026 Online Application Form link.
  2. Read the official notification carefully before filling out the application form.
  3. Complete the registration process using your basic details such as candidate name, mobile number, and email ID.
  4. Log in using the registration number and password generated during registration.
  5. Fill in all required details including personal information, educational qualifications, and examination center preference carefully.
  6. Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  7. Pay the application fee through online payment methods such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  8. After successful payment, review the application form carefully and submit it.
  9. Download and print the final submitted application form for future reference.
