Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur has released an official notification inviting online applications for the B.Ed. & Shiksha Shastri Combined Entrance Test (CET-B.Ed. 2026).

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website biharcetbed-brabu.in. The application process has started from 27th April 2026 and will continue until the last date, 18th May 2026.

Bihar BEd Entrance Exam 2026: Qualification Details

Course Eligibility Details
CET-B.Ed. Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) or in the Master's Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce or Bachelor's in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
Shiksha-Shastri Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit (as the main subject) and Master's Degree in Sanskrit/ Archarya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) and Acharya (First Year) or M.A. (First Year in Sanskrit). Or such candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) must complete one year bridge course to be eligible for Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. 2026). In both cases the minimum aggregate percentage of 50% will not be determined by adding up the marks of Acharya (First Year) / M.A. (First Year) and/ or Bridge course.

Bihar BEd Entrance Exam 2026: Exam Syllabus

CET-B.Ed.-2026 shall be of two hours duration. Candidates have to answer 120 multiple-choice questions.

The Question Booklet shall have 120 objective type questions each carrying one mark. The maximum marks allotted to the Entrance Test is 120.

How to Apply Bihar BEd Entrance Exam 2026

  1. Visit the Official Website:
    Go to the official website of Bihar CET-B.Ed. 2026: biharcetbed-brabu.in

  2. Click on Online Registration:
    On the homepage, click on the link “Online Registration for CET-B.Ed. 2026”.

  3. Register Yourself:
    Enter basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID, and create a password. After successful registration, login credentials will be generated.

  4. Login to Fill Application Form:
    Use the registered email ID and password to log in and access the application form.

  5. Fill Personal & Academic Details:
    Enter all required information including personal details, educational qualifications, and communication address.

  6. Upload Documents:
    Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and other required documents as per the prescribed format.

  7. Pay Application Fee:
    Pay the application fee through online mode such as debit card, credit card, or net banking.

  8. Review & Submit:
    Carefully review all the details entered in the application form and click on the “Submit” button.

  9. Print Confirmation Page:
    After successful submission, download and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
