The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the online application form for the Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) 2026 for admission into various Polytechnic and Diploma courses (PE / PMM / PM) offered by government and private institutions across Bihar in engineering and paramedical streams.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in from 19 March 2026 to 21 April 2026. Candidates seeking admission to Bihar Polytechnic courses through DCECE 2026 are advised to carefully read the official notification before filling out the application form.

Bihar DCECE PE / PMM / PM 2026: Qualification Details

  • Polytechnic Engineer (PE)
  • 10th pass or equivalent examination pass from recognized board/ institute and appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • Para Medical (Matric Level) PMM:
  • 10th or equivalent examination pass with Science and English subject from a recognized board and appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • Para Medical (Intermediate Level) PM:
  1. Passed in Intermediate Science or equivalent examination for Diploma in Pharmacy with Physics, Chemistry and English plus Mathematics or Biology.
    1. For GNM (Grade - A General Nursing and Midwifery) course, which will be available only to women, at least 40% marks in 10+2 / 12th science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and Passed with English as a subject. SC and ST candidates will have 5% relaxation in minimum marks.
    2. Candidates who have passed 10+2 / Intermediate Vocational Nursing Course with 40% marks from any institution recognized by Nursing Council of India will also be eligible for candidature for enrollment in GNM Nursing course.
    3. ANM Course Passed Candidates Who Have Passed 10+2 / Intermediate Exam With 40% Marks. They will also be eligible for candidature for enrollment in this course.
  3. For ANM (Nursing) course, which will be available only for women, only 10+2 / Intermediate exam should be passed with 40% marks. English must be a subject in 10+2 / Intermediate examination for ANM course.
  4. For the rest of the courses, applicants who have passed +2 Intermediate Science or any equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English can appear in this test. For Ophthalmic Assistant course, it will be mandatory to pass Intermediate in Science or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects.
  5. Passed 10+2 / Intermediate Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the minimum educational qualification for enrollment in Dental Mechanics and Dental Hygienist course.
  6. Applicants who have appeared in 10+2 / Intermediate examination or equivalent examination of the year 2026 are also eligible for this competitive examination.

How to Apply Bihar DCECE PE / PMM / PM 2026

  • Step 1: Registration
    • Visit the official BCECEB website. Click on "Online Application Portal of DCECE-2026" and select "New Registration." Fill in your email ID and mobile number to receive an OTP and create your login credentials.
  • Step 2: Personal Information
    Log in using your new credentials. Fill out your personal details (name, father's name, category, etc.) and click "Save & Continue."
  • Step 3: Upload Photo & Signature
    Upload a recent, high-contrast color passport-size photograph with a placard holding your name and the date the photo was taken. Upload your signature in both English and Hindi.
  • Step 4: Educational Information
    Enter your academic details for 10th (for PE/PMM) or 12th (for PM) standard. Click "Save & Continue."
  • Step 5: Preview & Payment
    Carefully review all the information you have entered. Once verified, proceed to pay the examination fee online via UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or Net Banking.
  • Step 6: Download Confirmation Page
    After successful payment, download the hard copy of the application form (Part-A and Part-B). Keep it safe for counselling; do not mail it to the BCECE board.
