BHU School Entrance Test SET 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Class 9
13 to 15 years of age as on 31.03.2026 i.e. date of birth should not be before 31.03.2011 and after 31.03.2013 and have passed class 8th examination from a recognized school. (Children born on 1st April, 2013 will also be considered.)
Class 11
18 years of maximum age as on 31.03.2026 i.e. date of birth should not be before 31.03.2008 and have passed class 10th examination from a recognized Board/ University.
For External Candidates (Coming Through SET): Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for admission in Class XI should be minimum passing marks (33%) in Class X.
Seats allotment in different streams for Class XI will be based on aggregate percentage of marks in class X board result for internal candidates and SET index for external candidates.
All students including BHU employee ward must secure minimum 33% marks in the School Entrance Test. The eligibility criteria for SC/ ST/ DIVYANG (Only OH) is 25% of marks in SET 2026.
