- The age of the applicant should be 18-60 years.
- The applicant herself or her husband should not be in the category of income tax payer.
- The applicant herself or her husband should not be in Government service (regular/contract).

| About the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana |
- The Bihar government has launched the 'Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme' to promote women's employment towards women empowerment.
- The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to one woman from each family of the state to start employment of her choice.
- The implementation process of this scheme has been started by the Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar through Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Committee (Jeevika).
- For the implementation of the scheme in the urban areas of the state, the cooperation of the Urban Development and Housing Department, Government of Bihar will be taken.

| Main objectives under Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana |
- Under the scheme, an amount of ₹ 10 thousand will be given as the first installment as financial assistance to one woman from each family to pursue employment of her choice.
- After the women start employment, additional financial assistance up to ₹ 2 lakh will be provided as per requirement after assessment.
- This initiative of the Bihar government will not only empower women but will also boost the economy of the state.
