Candidates must have passed I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) or 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics,
A 2-year Diploma in Optometry, or
2 years of training as an Ophthalmic Assistant at any recognized Government Hospital, as per NPCB (National Programme for Control of Blindness) guidelines.
OR
Candidates must have passed I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) or 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics,
and hold a 2-year Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant from a Government, Private, or Semi-Government institute recognized by the Government of Bihar.
