The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has invited online application form for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 from eligible graduate and postgraduate candidates for Paper I (Secondary) and Paper II (Higher Secondary). Those candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online at official website from 17th August 2026 to till last date 31st August 2026. STET Educational Eligibility Criteria 2026

Paper / Class Academic Qualification Requirements
Paper-I
(Secondary - Class 9 to 10)
  • विनिर्दिष्ट विषय/ विषय समूह में कम से कम 50 प्रतिशत अंक सहित स्नातक अथवा स्नातकोत्तर में (अथवा इसके समतुल्य) उत्तीर्ण एवं (बी०एड०)। अथवा
  • स्नातक अथवा स्नातकोत्तर (अथवा इसके समतुल्य) में कम से कम 45 प्रतिशत अंकों सहित स्नातक/ स्नातकोत्तर तथा राष्ट्रीय अध्यापक शिक्षा परिषद् (NCTE) विनियम-2002 और 2007 के अनुसार मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से शिक्षा में स्नातक (बी०एड०)। अथवा
  • विनिर्दिष्ट विषय / विषय समूह में बी०ए०एड०/ बी०एससी०एड० की चार वर्षीय उपाधि।
Paper-II
(Higher Secondary - Class 11 to 12)
  • विनिर्दिष्ट विषय में कम से कम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों सहित स्नातकोत्तर उत्तीर्ण एवं बी०एड०। अथवा
  • कम से कम 45 प्रतिशत अंकों सहित स्नातकोत्तर (अथवा इसके समतुल्य) तथा राष्ट्रीय अध्यापक शिक्षा परिषद् (NCTE) विनियम-2002 और 2007 के अनुसार मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से शिक्षा में स्नातक (बी०एड०)। अथवा
  • कम से कम 50 प्रतिशत अंकों सहित विनिर्दिष्ट विषय में स्नातकोत्तर (अथवा इसके समतुल्य) तथा बी०ए०एड०/ बी०एससी०एड०। अथवा
  • न्यूनतम 55 प्रतिशत अंकों अथवा उसके समकक्ष ग्रेड के साथ विनिर्दिष्ट विषय में स्नातकोत्तर तथा 03 वर्षीय एकीकृत बी०एड० एम०एड०।

How to Apply for Bihar STET Online Form 2026

  • Visit the official website of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) and open the Bihar STET 2026 online application section.
  • Click on the “Bihar STET 2026 – Apply Online” link.
  • Complete the New Registration process by entering your name, mobile number, email ID and other required details.
  • After successful registration, note down your Registration Number/User ID and Password for future use.
  • Login to the application portal using your registered Login ID and Password.
  • Fill in your personal details, including name, date of birth, category, gender and other required information.
  • Enter your educational qualification and subject-related details as mentioned in your certificates.
  • Select the appropriate Paper/Subject for which you want to appear in Bihar STET 2026.
  • Upload the required scanned photograph, signature and other documents in the prescribed format and size.
  • Carefully check all the details entered in the application form before proceeding to the next step.
  • Pay the applicable application fee through the available online payment mode.
  • After successful payment, review the complete application form and click on the Final Submit button.
  • After final submission, download and save the submitted application form and fee payment receipt for future reference.
  • Candidates are advised to keep a printed copy of the final application form safely until the completion of the Bihar STET 2026 examination process.
