What is the CM-PRATIGYA Scheme?
  • The Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana is essentially an internship program designed to equip the state's youth with workplace readiness training and practical exposure in diverse sectors like manufacturing, services, and public undertakings. It acknowledges that a lack of practical experience is a major hurdle in securing stable employment and seeks to resolve this by partnering with established industries and employers.
  • The scheme offers a robust framework where interns can apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, making them more competitive in the job market.
CM Pratigya Yojana 2025: Key Objectives and Benefits

This scheme is a multi-pronged approach to youth empowerment. Its primary goals include:

  • Enhancing Employability: Providing hands-on work experience in various industries to make candidates job-ready.
  • Skill Development: Offering on-the-job training in relevant sectors like Digital Marketing, Sales Management, Brand Management, and more.
  • Financial Support: Offering a monthly stipend to support the youth during their internship period, fostering self-reliance.
  • Reducing Unemployment: Creating a pathway for unemployed but qualified youth to enter the workforce.
CM Pratigya Yojana 2025: Financial Assistance (Stipend Structure)

The scheme offers a generous monthly stipend, paid directly to the intern's bank account (DBT), with the amount varying based on the applicant's highest qualification:

ITI / Diploma Holders ₹5,000/-
Graduate / Post-Graduate ₹6,000/-
CM Pratigya Yojana 2025: Additional Sustenance Allowance

To encourage broader exposure, the scheme also provides extra allowances for internships secured outside the applicant's home location:

  • Internship Outside Home District (within Bihar): An additional ₹2,000/- per month (for the first three months).
  • Internship Outside Bihar (Out-of-State): An additional ₹5,000/- per month (for the entire duration of the internship).

The internship duration is a minimum of 3 months and can be extended up to 12 months, based on the industry's requirements and the candidate's interest.
