CDS Examination 2025: Age Limit
Course Name	Age Limit
For IMA	Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2007 only are eligible.
For Indian Naval Academy	Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2007 only are eligible.
For Air Force Academy	20 to 24 years as on 1st July, 2026 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July, 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2006 Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2006 only are eligible.
For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Course for men)	Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2007 only are eligible.
For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Women Non-Technical Course)	Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2007.

Indian Naval Academy	Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.
Air Force Academy	Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. Graduates with first choice as Army/ Navy/ Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/ provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB. Candidates who are studying in the final year/ semester Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply.

How to Fill CDS II Exam Online Form 2025
One-Time Registration (OTR) Visit the UPSC OTR Portal. Click on “One Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations of UPSC”. Select “New Registration” and provide your: Full Name, Date of Birth, Gender Parent's details Mobile Number and Email ID Verify your details and submit. Enter the OTPs sent to your mobile and email to complete the registration. Fill the Application Form Part I Registration: Log in to the UPSC Online Application Portal. Click on “Apply Online” and select “Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination (II), 2025”. Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and preferences for the academy and branch. Choose your preferred examination center. Part II Registration: Pay the application fee: ₹200 for General/OBC candidates No fee for SC/ST/female candidates Upload scanned copies of: Passport-sized photograph (20–300 KB, JPG format) Signature (20–300 KB, JPG format) Valid photo ID (20–300 KB, PDF format) Agree to the declaration and submit the form.
