NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainee 2025: Salary

Pay Scale : Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.30,000 - 1,20,000/- at the basic pay of Rs.30,000/- (E0 Grade). The other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. will be admissible as per company rules in force from time to time during training/ after absorption.

NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainee 2025: Selection Process

Eligible candidates will have to appear for All India based Online Selection Test. Based on category wise merit and number of vacancies, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification/further selection process. The test will consist of two parts - Subject Knowledge test and Executive Aptitude Test. The candidates must qualify separately in both the parts.

  3. Click on the link to view details and access the online application form.
  4. Register and fill in the required information.
  5. Upload necessary documents and pay the application fee, if applicable.
  6. Submit the application and retain a printout for future reference.


List of Documents to be uploaded in NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainee 2025

    List of Documents to be uploaded as a single PDF file in the below given SEQUENCE:

  1. Class X Passing Certificate or Marksheet for Name/DOB proof (name must appear in conformity in all the documents)
  2. Copy of PAN Card
  3. M.Sc. (Chemistry) Degree-Final/Provisional certificate (last issued marksheet needs to be submitted by appearing candidates if the final result is yet to be declared; however, such candidates will only be considered for selection if they are able to submit the prescribed final/provisional degree dated 31.07.2025 or before).
  4. Final year or Consolidated Marksheet/Transcript clearly indicating aggregate % of marks in all semesters.
  5. Marks conversion formula from the University/Institute for conversion of marks in CGPA/CGPI/DGPA/CGI/CPI etc. into percentage (%). A conversion formula is not required if the marks are already awarded in percentage.
  6. Valid Caste/Category Certificate in the govt. prescribed format (for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWBD/EWS candidates). a. OBC-NCL certificate should be in central format valid for the FY 2025-26. b. EWS Candidates need to submit a valid Income & Asset certificate for the FY 2025-26 based on the income of FY 2024-25 in the prescribed central format.
  7. Note- Candidates should necessarily upload all documents while applying. Applications with incomplete / insufficient documents are liable to be rejected / not considered for further process.
