About Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC)

By Act No. 7/2002 of Bihar State Pay Scale Rs. Bihar Staff Selection Commission, Po.- Veterinary College, Patna was constituted for appointment to non-gazetted posts of class-3 below 6,500-10,500/-. The Lower Service Selection Council was dissolved earlier and after the dissolution of the School Service Board, it was included in the commission.
The posts of a chairman and two members are created in the Bihar Staff Selection Commission, in which officers of the rank of secretary of the Indian Administrative Service are the chairman and officers of different cadres of class-I with a pay scale of not less than Rs. 14,000/- are nominated by the government as members. is done.
